Do you think that you have to go to an Ivy League medical school to get a New York residency? Think again! The AUA College of Medicine has placed its students in some of the best and most prestigious hospitals all over the United States. Our alumni enter the field of medicine as qualified and prepared individuals.
Despite the program’s youth, the American University of Antigua is one of the few foreign medical schools that is accredited by the state of New York. This allows our students to have the option to complete their education with a New York residency at a state approved hospital. This includes hospitals in New York, New York, so an NYC residency is obtainable as well.
AUA offers options for both a four year MD program and a six year AS/MD (or BSc/MD) Degree program. Our programs are based on the curriculum of the United States with the specific intent of getting its alumni qualified, licensed, and employed by U.S. health care providers. The biggest difference between a medical school on the American mainland and the American University of Antigua is the price. So, if you are interest in a New York residency, or specifically an NYC residency, please contact us for information regarding our programs.
