Dr. Hannah is a senior, health information management consultant specializing in information integration in health care environments, from strategic planning to implementation of information systems in health care. In addition, Dr. Hannah has extensive experience in information integration in health care environments, from strategic planning to implementation of information systems in health care. Dr. Hannah is the author of several textbooks and numerous articles on computers in health care, as well as and health informatics. She is coeditor, with Dr. Marion Ball, of the highly respected Health Informatics Series (formerly Computers in Healthcare) published by Springer-Verlag (
http://www.springer-ny.com/healthinformatics). Dr. Hannah's current projects include initiatives with the Canadian Nurses Association, the Alberta Cancer Board and Canada Health Infoway. Dr. Hannah is currently Head of the Canadian Delegation to the International Health Terminologies Standards Development Organization and a member of the Canada Health Infoway Standards Collaborative Steering committee. She was formerly tenured Professor in the Faculty of Nursing and in Department of Community Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Calgary where she continues to serve as an Adjunct Professor.
