Jeffrey Yanez, MD
Dr.Jeffrey Paul Yanez was born and raised in Southeast Michigan. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Oakland University in 1984. He graduated from St. Georges University School of Medicine in 1988 and completed 4 years of residency in combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in 1993. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is dual board certified and recertified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He has devoted his entire career to primary patient care, graduate medical education and student education. His personal goal is to enable the student and resident physician the opportunity to achieve their personal goals. He strives to provide the educational experiences to balance didactic instruction and education through direct patient care. Currently, he also functions as the Program Director for the Transitional Year Program at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland and the Medical Director of the Physicians Network at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland).
