Dr. James M. Rice is an Associate Professor of Behavioral Science. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wright State University, his Master’s degree in Psychology from Drake University, and his Doctoral degree in Rehabilitation from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Illinois. He was an Assistant Professor of Psychology at St. Cloud State University, and at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis. Dr. Rice is currently also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Indianapolis. Dr. Rice has published fifteen peer-reviewed articles and several book chapters. A licensed Psychologist, his primary research interests include psychosocial aspects and coping with chronic disease and disability.
