Immigration [Top] |
||
| International students who are not citizens or permanent residents of the United States may need to obtain a B-1 visitor’s visa from a U.S. consulate prior to entering the United States for their clinical clerkships. Some students, such as Canadian citizens, are exempt from the visa requirement. All such international students, however, are required to document the reason for their visit to the United States to officers of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection upon their entry to the United States. Should you have any questions regarding these and other immigration issues, you may contact Charles J. Favata, a U.S. based immigration attorney who has had a long standing relationship with AUA, by calling him at 914-481-8380 or e-mailing him at favata@attglobal.net | ||
